Welcome to my game development corner!
I'm Victorium, an indie game developer passionate about crafting unique experiences. I began my journey in game development with Unity (C#), but over time, I realized I needed a more agile tool. That's when I found my home in Godot 4 (GDScript), where the development process is faster and smoother, allowing me to iterate and apply changes without the long wait times for compilation. And I'm thrilled with the results!
I'm currently working on an ambitious project called Minicraftia. Imagine a fusion between Minecraft and Terraria: a 2D sandbox world with the charming graphic style of the Minecraft Mob Vote. The project is still in development, and although there's some time left before a stable version is ready, I'm excited about what's to come. For the curious, I've left a demo of the initial version I developed in Unity before deciding to restart the project from scratch in Godot.
One of my recent projects is Thin Ice, a complete recreation of the popular Club Penguin mini-game. In this game, the player controls a little black puffle on fire that must traverse thin ice surfaces without falling into the water, leaving a trail of water behind each step. The challenge is to plan each move to cover all the tiles without getting stuck. I plan to reimagine this classic with new features in the future, using Godot's capabilities to improve gameplay and graphics, but retaining the essence that made the original game so addictive and beloved. It's a tribute to a classic that shaped the childhood of many, and I hope new players will also enjoy it.
Recently, I've also been experimenting with a new project called Infinity Alchemy. It's a game/tool inspired by titles like Little Alchemy and Infinite Craft, but with an innovative twist: element fusion is powered by artificial intelligence but locally. The main difference is that you can connect the game to a local API, like LM Studio, or a private OpenAI account, allowing each user to have a unique and offline experience without sharing discoveries with others. This project is an evolving experiment, using LLM models that will become increasingly accessible to serve as the engine for this type of game.
Thank you for visiting my profile! I'm eager to share my creations with you, and I hope you enjoy exploring these worlds as much as I enjoyed creating them.
